ENCAPSU — Spaces, as 3D digital twins.

Space,
captured as it is.

空間を、ありのままに残す。

ENCAPSU creates 3D virtual tours that recreate real spaces online, using Matterport 3D scanning. Drawing on our experience recording everything from exhibition booths and showrooms to shops and temples, we help businesses bring their exhibitions and spaces into 3D.

Every space holds
more than words can tell.

We wanted to preserve spaces as 3D data before they disappear. That is where ENCAPSU began.

What a digital twin can do

Walk, guide, explain, measure. More than something to look at, it becomes a space you can plan and present with.

Case Studies

Projects for clients including Mitsubishi Motors and Kirin, going beyond the standard features to custom UI design and extended functionality.

Case 01
Kirin
Oishisa Taikan Tour

Created for Kirin's “Oishisa Taikan Tour” experience. Visitors follow the fermentation process through the 3D space, with explanations and video at each stage, inside a custom interface designed around the brand.

  • Step-by-step navigation: a guided path through each stage of fermentation
  • Pop-up information: yeast types and temperature changes shown instantly
  • Video and graphics: fermentation tank footage synced with the 3D space
  • Custom UI: controls designed around the Kirin Group brand experience
Case 02
Mitsubishi Motors
Japan Mobility Show

Shot on press day at the Japan Mobility Show and published within 12 hours. With video overlays and a heatmap, visitors could experience the exhibition online at the same time as the show itself.

  • Rapid turnaround: live within 12 hours of the press-day shoot
  • Custom video overlays: promo footage of each car played inside the 3D space
  • E-commerce links: direct access to related product pages
  • Custom UI: controls designed around the Mitsubishi Motors brand experience

What our clients say

Feedback from clients who have worked with ENCAPSU (translated from Japanese).

"
Being able to share the space digitally makes it much easier for guests to picture it. On our side, there are fewer misunderstandings, and preparation and management on the day run more smoothly.

The main hall and the grounds have stood here for hundreds of years. There is a quiet reassurance in keeping them, just as they are now, as data. Even as ceremonies and repairs slowly change the temple's face, anyone can walk through Manryuji as it is at this moment, at any time. That means a great deal to us.

Imai Package is a family-run factory that goes back to my grandfather's time. I was simply happy to keep a record of the factory as it is today, but it has also proved useful for planning layout changes. When we discuss moving equipment, being able to check things inside the space without going to the floor is a big help.

FAQ

Q.Is my space suitable for a virtual tour?
We have worked in shops, factories, offices, event venues and more. If you want to explain a space more clearly or share it remotely, a digital twin works well. If you're not sure it suits you, get in touch and we'll suggest the best approach.
Q.How long does delivery take?
Your digital twin is usually ready a few days to two weeks after the shoot. Faster turnaround is possible depending on the project, so just ask if you have a deadline.
Q.How is this different from other VR or 360° photo services?
Rather than a set of photos, we build data you can understand in three dimensions. It is designed as a lasting digital asset of your space, not one-off content, and that is the key difference from other VR and 360° services.
Q.Can tours be private or password-protected?
Yes. Password protection, private links and embedding are all available, so models in development or for internal review can be kept restricted.
Q.What do we need to prepare for the shoot?
Please tidy and clean the areas to be scanned beforehand. The shoot takes half a day to a full day, can happen without closing, and our team handles everything on the day.
Q.Can overseas visitors view the tours? Do you support other languages?
Yes. We support English and other languages, and tours can be viewed from anywhere.

Combining architecture and marketing, we handle everything from strategy to the finished experience.
